  • The employee recognition program fosters a culture of service excellence that connects with Pillars 2, 3, and 4 of the district's strategic plan focused on Team Excellence, Stakeholder Trust, and Effective Systems and Planning. 

    Benefits of the Employee Recognition Program include the following: 

    Increased individual productivity
    -The act of recognizing desired behavior increases the repetition of the desired behavior, and therefore productivity. 

    Greater Employee Satisfaction
    -Greater employee satisfaction and enjoyment of work. 
    -Lower negative effects such as absenteeism and stress.

    Retention of Quality Employees
    -Retention of quality employees increases and lowers employee turnover.
    -Teamwork among employees is enhanced.
